The property is tucked away near the end of a one-way street and is completely fenced in with gated entry. The main living area is up one flight of steps, that opens directly into the spacious open concept living space with comfortable sofas and charming chef’s kitchen complete with island seating for six. Just down the short hallway off the kitchen/living room is a full bath as well as a guest bedroom with queen bed. Across the hall is the primary bedroom with a king bed, en-suite bath and walk-in closet.
Head out to the canal front balcony with peek-a-boo bays and enjoy your morning coffee or watch the light fade at sunset with a glass of wine. Take a dip in the heated and chilled cocktail pool that includes a baja shelf and bubbler, ideal lounging or play. Bringing your boats isn’t a problem, as this house has 50’ of concrete dockage. Only a short idle up the canal and you will be able to fuel up your vessel at the neighboring gas station. This is a prime boater's location as you are provided with direct access to the Florida Bay and the Atlantic Ocean through Tavernier Creek, which has approximately 15’ of clearance.
Within a short distance from the house you will find some amazing restaurants such as Old Tavernier, which has been a local’s favorite since 1988. Enjoy brunch at Made-to-Order and indulge in waffles, pancakes, and mimosas. Swing in Mar Bar for happy hour and fresh cracked stone crab claws. Florida Keys Dive Center is one mile up the road where you can become a certified scuba diver or head out for an afternoon snorkeling trip! A quick one minute drive north and you will find Tavernier Towne Plaza which has grocery shopping, pharmacy, post office, restaurants, movie theater and more! Downtown Islamorada is just 10 minutes south which offers endless restaurants, breweries, shopping, activities and a second grocery option. Key West is a beautiful two hour drive south.
