This newly constructed canal front residence located in the heart of Plantation Key is sure to help boost your serotonin and ensure complete relaxation. This impressive home can comfortably accommodate eight adults with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The main living space, located on the second floor, has a beautiful open concept layout making it a great space to both entertain and unwind after a long day on the water. Built with a chef in mind, the kitchen comes equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and top of the line cookware to help you prepare a lovely meal that is sure to delight. Don't forget the vino! This home has a chilled wine cellar built right into the kitchen. After dinner, enjoy a drink while taking in the picturesque sunset views from the rooftop deck.
The luxurious primary suite features a spacious room with a king bed, lavish bathroom with the finest hand picked fixtures and finishes and custom built-in closet. There are also two additional queen bedrooms, a guest bath, and full size washer/dryer on the second floor. Downstairs, you'll find an in-law's suite complete with a separate living space, fully stocked kitchen, king bed and full bathroom.
Completed with shellstone pavers and artificial grass, the backyard leaves no detail spared. BBQ on the Weber gas grill or try smoking on the Big Green Egg charcoal grill. Take a dip in the heated and chilled pool that includes a baja shelf and bubbler, ideal lounging or play. Bringing your boats isn’t a problem, as this house has 50’ of concrete dockage and comes outfitted with a 15,000 lb boat lift and commercial size ice maker to keep your dinner or cocktails cold for those long days on the water. Only a short idle up the canal and you will be able to fuel up your vessel at the neighboring gas station. This is a prime boater's location as you are provided direct access to the Florida Bay and quick access to the Atlantic Ocean through Tavernier Creek, which has approximately 15’ of clearance.
Within a short distance from the house you will find some amazing restaurants such as Old Tavernier, which has been a local’s favorite since 1988. Enjoy brunch at Made-to-Order and indulge in waffles, pancakes, and mimosas. Swing in Mar Bar for happy hour and fresh cracked stone crab claws. A quick one minute drive north and you will find Tavernier Towne Plaza which has grocery shopping, pharmacy, post office, restaurants, movie theater and more! Downtown Islamorada is just 10 minutes south which offers endless restaurants, breweries, shopping, activities and a second grocery option. Key West is a beautiful two hour drive south.

Our visit to Island Time was magical!! From swimming in the heated pool to Kayaking with the manatees in the canal, our stay was totally outstanding. This house has it all going for it. From the beautiful kitchen, comfortable beds, ample linens and plenty of indoor space so everyone isnt on top of each other. Additionally where the magic truly is in the outside space. We dined at the outside table, barbecued a lot and had some great seafood meals. Morning coffee on the roof top deck to sunset cocktails up there too, catching the amazing views. Plenty of outdoor space for sun lovers as well as shaded areas for those who need to protect from the sun. My favorite spot was on the dock, canal side, watching manatees swim by and waving to all the boaters who pass on their way out to the bay. Coastal Vacation Rentals management team was responsive and easy to communicate with for any questions we encountered during our stay. They respected our desire for privacy always notifying us if ground keeper crews would be there, pool maintenance on Mondays and even helped schedule a last minute cleaning of the in-law apartment down below during a change in guests. Island Time is a beautiful home - we loved the pool, the canal, location was convenient to everything in Islamorada. Working from home was made even easier with the multiple desk options and spacious rooms.
